About The Position
The Collin County Clerk is seeking individuals to fill the position of Deputy County Clerk II. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Accurately recording electronic and paper real property records, reviewing, approving and recording plats, issuing and recording marriage licenses, issuing certified copies of birth and death records, certifying TABC applications for beer and wine permits, filing DD214s, filing foreclosure notices, processing burial transits, filing and recording livestock marks and brands, issuance of the mark and/or brand certification following state legislative requirements, recording and issuing assumed names, processing acknowledgments of paternity cases, maintaining a cash drawer by accurately cashiering cash, credit/debit card, and check transactions, balancing cash drawer at end of each business day, accurately reporting end of day transactions, compiling and distributing statistical data, processing incoming and outgoing mail, assisting customers in person and on the phone in a positive and professional manner. Will perform all other duties as assigned.
