Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Deputy County Clerk II. This position is responsible for entering information from land documents into the computer system. Candidates must be familiar with terminology of different deeds (such as warranty deed, deed of trust, etc). This position will prepare documents for scanning and indexing by arranging in numerical and batch order, checking notary seals, verifying signatures and stamping document as well as performing financial duties by entering information into system, preparing receipts and deposits and balancing cash drawer at end of day. Will perform other duties as assigned.
