About The Position
Collin County is seeking candidates to fill the position of Deputy Clerk II in our criminal courts section. The candidate who fills this position will be responsible for verifying all criminal bonds are received from the Sheriff's Office, accurately entering the bonds and warrants into database and sending bond reports to appropriate bonding companies as well as scanning cash bond releases for the Treasury department, entering information in Odyssey database to discharge bond, pulling files for the criminal court clerks, filing pending and closed warrants, bonds and cash bond releases and issuing warrants in accordance with state statutes. Additional responsibilities include answering high volume phones, processing credit card payments for court costs, fines and fees, working with court appointed paperwork, heavy filing and accurately maintaining the court database. Duties include balancing a cash drawer at the end of the business day and accurately preparing bank deposits. This position also performs other duties as assigned.
