About The Position

As a Deputy, Corporate Security (Facility Security Officer (FSO)), you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining security and resilience of the company’s global operations. This position involves supporting the Director in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures across all domestic and international sites to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards. The successful candidate will act as the primary security representative in the Director’s absence and assist in managing the corporate security team and third-party vendors worldwide.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 to Tier 3 Security Clearance as required
  • Must have 8-10 years of experience in physical, personnel, and data security
  • Must be a Certified Facility Security Officer (FSO)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CUI certification

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the Deputy Security Manager for the Enterprise, responding to requests for assistance, information, and guidance on all issues of National and International Industrial Security concerns and requirements
  • Responsible for continuously maintaining current knowledge on all Government issued regulatory requirements as they apply to the Enterprise to include, as a minimum, 32 CFR, 48 CFR, 49 CFR as spelled out above, as well as the requirements defined in the NARA (National Archives Registry Administration)
  • Responsible for furthering the development, implementation, of the Industrial Security Program across the Enterprise
  • Manages the Access Control Program for the Enterprise including coordination with Trade Compliance, Contracted Security Companies, and site leadership to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures as they apply to the Industrial Security Program
  • Works with Trade Compliance to ensure Enterprise site physical and personnel compliance with import and export requirements, foreign visitor access control, and the protection of government and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems
  • Works with Trade Compliance, HR, and Logistics to ensure compliance with the Customs and Border Patrol CTPAT (Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program
  • Develop or assist in the development and updates of Company Security Policies, Procedures, Forms, and Handbooks relating to the Industrial Security Program
  • Develops and/or assists in developing, updating, proofing, and/or briefing of PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and other presentations to communicate security processes, procedures, training, and compliance to members of the ELT, Site Leadership across the organization, potential customers and others as required or requested
  • Review, investigate, and report up channel on any security incidents, violations, and breaches in compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory compliance, and Company policies and procedures
  • Conduct site security inspections of various sector locations to identify compliance, discrepancies, and collaborate with site security and leadership on mitigation steps and procedures for gap closures and to improve the overall security of Company sites
  • Assist in the development of Statements of Work for the procurement, installation, and upkeep of Capital Expenditures associated with the procurement of security tools, software, and other investitures
  • Participate in monthly security managers meetings and site security officer meetings presenting strategic objectives, tracking tasking, communicating requirements for process completion, mitigation, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development of annual security strategic objectives that focus on improving, furthering, and ultimately improving the Industrial Security Program for each Sector and the Company at large
  • Provides subject matter expertise on Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in support of the NIST 800-171 and 48 CFR CMMC program to include site assessment for the sustainability of the tri-annual government inspections
  • Provide input to StandardAero’s Insider Threat and Active Shooter programs to include policies, procedures, emergency action plans, training material, and exercise development and execution while ensuring OSHA, FEMA, and National Security requirements are met
  • Effectively ensure all relevant security, emergency, and disaster recovery issues are communicated and cascaded in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Completes all relevant administration tasks which may change through time in line with requirements;
  • Undertakes all reasonable, ad-hoc, duties that may arise (as instructed by line manager)
