About The Position
DeKalb County is seeking an innovative Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) to assist the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing the operations of county departments and executing the strategic priorities established by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This key role performs various responsibilities including collaborating closely with the COO to implement the county-wide strategic plan, providing leadership and direction to departments, assisting in budget planning, managing special projects, and building relationships with County staff and the public.
