The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) is responsible for directly supporting the CFO in all aspects of the overall management of the finance and accounting systems, processes and people for Whitman-Walker Health. The DCFO will have direct management responsibilities over key managers within the finance department. In addition, they will be primarily responsible for monthly financial reporting, supporting annual audit and cost report preparation, oversight of the annual budget development, oversight of comprehensive general ledger maintenance and reconciliation, monthly overhead allocations, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, and assisting the audit firm with the annual 990 submission. This position provides onsite and remote supervision to the finance team and cultivates a coordinated, highly reliable, team-based culture within the finance department.
