About The Position
The Deputy Assessor of Appraisal is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the daily operations of the appraisal section within the Assessor's Office. This role assists the Assessor in the annual valuation of all real property in Richland County and the reassessment of properties every five years. The position involves performing complex appraisal work, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and representing the Assessor in various functions.
