Responsibilities: Responsible for the administration and coordination of one or more subject matter programs within a department. Maintains and implements policies of the program and supports communication of outcomes to stakeholders. Plan meetings to ensure the goals of the program are discussed and reached. Collect and report on feedback on the success and/or failure of certain projects and activities. Provide consultative services, including training and education as needed. Assists with the creation and communication of marketing and communication materials. May support program budgeting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Serves as a senior leader for the Office of Mental Health’s (OMH) Project ECHO- Geriatric Mental Health Program. Operates in a highly autonomous capacity in collaboration with the URMC HUB team, developing and implementing the didactic curriculum based on analysis of participant survey responses and identified learning needs. Facilitate all required documentation for continuing educational activities. Works directly with the Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) to certify sessions and maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements necessary to provide continuing education credits. Responsible for compiling and submitting quarterly and annual program reports. Leads statewide community outreach efforts to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) for Project ECHO. Meets with organizational leadership - including administrators, directors of nursing, and front-line staff - to educate stakeholders, promote program engagement, and onboard new facilities. Collaborates closely with the Nurse Engagement Specialist and SNF staff to coordinate care presentations, prepare required documentation, and ensure efficient and successful ECHO clinics. Gathering and analyzing program data, identifying trends and performance gaps, and collaborating with external stakeholders – including leadership within the OMH – to develop and implement strategies for system improvement. Direct and coordinate the credentialing process for all Providers across 60+ SNFs. Maintains strict confidentiality of provider records and sensitive information. Oversee a unique, internally managed credentialing process due to the extensive and varied documentation requirements. Maintains high-level communication with SNF administrators to ensure timely completion, compliance, and accuracy of all credentialled materials. Manages multiple programs within the Telepsychiatry Department, including the Monroe Community Hospital Fellow/Resident Program, Psychology Internship Program, and Telepsychiatry Residency Program. Develops and implements comprehensive orientation and onboarding processes for all new department members, including office staff, providers, residents, fellows, and interns. Ensures seamless integration into departmental workflows and organizational culture. Oversees Referral Specialist, manages provider scheduling to optimize access, efficiency, and continuity of care. Organizes and facilitates program-related meetings, records minutes, and tracks follow-up on action items to ensure accountability and progress. Triages and manages conflicts and concerns from both internal and external stakeholders, promoting effective communication, problem resolution, and high-quality service delivery. Analyze data and explore opportunities for improvement within the entire Telepsychiatry Program—creation and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services with oversight from Leadership. Management of the Telepsychiatry Resource BOX, which is distributed to hundreds of SNF employees across NYS. A quarterly newsletter, updated forms, and educational materials, including recent ECHO didactics, are made available to the participating community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Two years of relevant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously required.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Requires occasional travel in NYS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
