About The Position

This is a temporary position in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses including Expository Writing, Advanced Writing (GWR/GWAR), Critical Thinking, Speech, or Literature. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students across a wide range of disciplines.

Requirements

  • An earned Ph.D. degree in English, Comparative Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, or a closely related field is required.
  • Master's degree, MFA, or ABD status in relevant discipline may be acceptable depending on the position.
  • Commitment to working with underrepresented groups.
