About The Position

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Coffee kiosk. Support the Deli Manager in the day-to-day functions of the kiosk operations. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handlers permit once employed
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
  • Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department
  • Monitor and control expenses for the department
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Coffee kiosk
  • Support the Deli Manager in the day-to-day functions of the kiosk operations
  • Train and develop associates on performance of their job and participate in the performance appraisal process
  • Create and prepare drinks for customers ensuring they meet Company standards
  • Assist in developing and implementing a department business plan to achieve desired results
  • Assist in creating and executing sales promotions in partnership with store management
  • Inform and educate department associates about current, upcoming and special in-store promotions especially promotions that affect the kiosk
  • Assist in implementing the period promotional plan for the department
  • Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs
  • Assist in planning, organizing and supervising the inventory process
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents
  • Report all safety risk, or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud
