About The Position
The Deposit Service Specialist at BAC Community Bank plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional client experiences through various channels and interactions. This position is primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of customers assigned to designated Relationship Managers while also providing support to any customer as needed. The specialist performs multiple operational functions, including fulfilling requests related to deposit services and cash management, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. In this role, the Deposit Service Specialist is expected to provide outstanding customer service, maintaining and servicing designated customer relationships. This includes initiating, monitoring, and fulfilling requests for services using appropriate channels and resources such as Workflows, Smart ALAC, ShareFile, and DocuSign. The specialist will also be responsible for opening and maintaining all types of new accounts for the commercial client segment, understanding all bank deposit products and services, and quoting deposit rates, service charges, and other relevant information about deposit accounts. Additionally, the specialist will identify opportunities to provide beneficial products and services to customers, effectively communicate with them to cross-sell products that meet their needs, and assist with requests or complaints through various channels. The role also involves supporting commercial clients with their cash management needs, which includes understanding cash management services and customer agreements, answering client questions, and providing setup and monitoring support for various cash management services. The Deposit Service Specialist will participate in the CM call queue as needed, perform business new account callbacks, approve transactions within specified limits, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role also requires participation in marketing campaigns and supporting bank initiatives by completing assigned tasks and serving on project teams or committees.
