About The Position

As a Deposit Operations Support Manager you'll be responsible in the oversight of a team that supports our Bank Operations and other areas of the bank by providing an array of back office operational support duties. One of your key responsibilities will be managing the Deposit Operations Support Team in ensuring the Deposit Operations Support Specialists work across the organization efficiently and accurately on complex back office bank operational issues while maintaining optimal departmental workflow between operational units. Responsible for supporting the Deposit Operations Support Director in ensuring a team of Deposit Operations Support Specialists provide a comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer service experience. Ensures the accurate processing of a variety of back office banking transactions and the daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Oversee the Deposit Operations Support Specialist Team in resolving more complex internal and external customer inquiries, ensure efficient daily work flow, reviews work for accuracy and completeness, and provide a high level of responsiveness to inquiries. Assist in providing leadership, training, and guidance to branch support team. Assist in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control. Ensure compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and state and federal regulations. Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience in Banking Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Back office banking operations experience preferred.
