About The Position
The position involves performing device refreshes, including imaging and configuration for PCs or laptops. The role requires on-site installation and coordination with onsite teams in alignment with company security protocols. Responsibilities also include packaging PCs for shipping prior to deployment and coordinating the return of devices for disposal. The technician will respond to end-users' inquiries regarding technology issues, providing both onsite and remote support during the migration process. This includes incident recognition, research, isolation, and troubleshooting steps for issues, utilizing a ticketing system to open and track incidents. Additionally, the technician will provide training and presentations to end-users on various aspects of technology and its application within the company. The role requires managing end-user expectations and satisfaction throughout the process and escalating issues that cannot be resolved independently.
