Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. The Work The Deployment Project Control Account Engineer will have the responsibility to work with the Engineering Manager, Engineering Project Manager and Task Order leadership to assist in leading and coordinating the data collection, analysis, and action planning, in addition to assisting with the management, coordination, and oversight of, the cross Agile Release Train and Cross Functional Product Team efforts associated with the Deployment team. In this role the selected candidate will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support development of IMS objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, and will support cross spiral de-confliction, Cross Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution. This role is vital to interfacing with peer EVMs, EPMs, EMs, finance, and planning team members and helping facilitate tight coordination and data collection and analysis across the associated ART and planning integration across the other program entities. In addition to supporting the monthly EVM rhythm, this role could also be a delegate for the associated EPM/EM, during performance reviews, to aid in communicating/statusing overall performance execution within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Also, supporting proposal development and data analysis for engineering estimates and engineering change proposals activities. Additionally, this role also supports the program's risk and opportunity management process helping to drive effectiveness of risk and opportunity management within the assigned ART. As an experienced earned value management tactician, this role will also participate in corporate and program process, tools and organizational improvement efforts. Also, providing consultation/training to associated EPM/EM on processes and procedures for maintaining a fiscally compliant posture. Please Note: - This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. - Occasional travel will be required for this position including support to installation and checkout at customer sites. Some non-standard work hours are possible intermittently.   • Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position
  • Proven experience with standard EVM practices and procedures, tools (such as OpenPlan, PM Compass, and Microsoft Project), schedule creation/management, rolling waves, and EVM cost baselining.
  • Must be a recent graduate of a CAM/EVM training course and completed PM Compass or other EVM tool training within the last 2 years (candidates can be considered if they complete the course within 6 months from the employment start date).
  • Possess strong project management, program management, and/or technical lead experience.
  • Experience identifying IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules.
  • Recent experience with DCMA Audits and Baseline Reviews preferably as the CAM or EV Lead answering the questions.
  • Demonstrated abilities highlighting acceptance of responsibilities, attention to details and meeting financial deadlines such as anomaly and metric reports is a must
  • Working level of knowledge with regard to Lockheed Martin CAM/CAM Analyst processes and policies (CPS-070, PPMD) or equivalent. Knowledge of C2BMC National Team/MDA C2BMC Program Directorate processes and procedures.
  • Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance.
  • Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities.
  • Experience in developing & managing project teams and schedules.
  • Possess knowledge of the Development Lifecycle, spiral development and Agile processes.
