About The Position

The Deployment Manager coordinates franchise PMs and deployment service partners to ensure all deployment projects are staffed appropriately every week. This role involves interfacing with project management to determine weekly project start requirements, confirming resource availability with deployment partners, interviewing field technicians for tiger team support, and engaging tiger teams to provide project support. The Deployment Manager ensures that North America deployment projects are staffed with appropriate field technicians to execute the scope of work, works directly with service partners to manage the day-to-day activities of the technicians, and helps identify and train incoming resources to Ciena methods and standards. The role also includes preparing detailed reports on field activity and reporting to senior leadership.
