The Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) is seeking an individual to work in public service as an Insurance Investigator in its Office of Insurance Licensing, Investigations, and Audits. The right candidate will serve an important and exciting role in Michigan's insurance sector reviewing allegations of unlicensed insurance activity and misconduct by licensed entities and individuals and, ensuring compliance with the Michigan Insurance Code, Rules, and Regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing allegations of potential violations of law; investigating by gathering facts and information and conducting interviews; and detailing your findings and recommendations in written reports. This position works collaboratively with other governmental and law enforcement agencies and may appear and testify at administrative hearings and in court proceedings.
