The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences spans a continuum from discovery, development, and delivery of new drugs, devices, and diagnostics all the way to optimizing medication therapy in patients and patient populations. The school offers a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, MS in Pharmacology, PhD in Pharmacological Sciences, and Doctor of Pharmacy PharmD. https://pharmsci.uci.edu Reporting to the Senior Assistant Dean and working closely with the Department Chair, the Department Operations Manager provides strategic oversight, fiscal authority, and operational leadership for one of the Departments in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (either the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice or Departrment of Pharmaceutical Sciences). As a seasoned administrative operations professional, incumbent manages, plans, and administers departmental operations in support of academic and research programs, inlcuding budgetary financial management, strategic planning, workload planning (didactic and experiential), IT, HR, facilities, events, and communications (internal and external) related to the department. Incumbent selects, trains, and supervises department staff.
