About The Position
This position resides in the Office of Safety and Security within Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW). This position requires highly advanced professional/technical work with supervisory responsibility within a transit system safety and security program for the Miami-Dade Transit Agency, with additional oversight of the Public Works Division. Employees are responsible for oversight of federal and state transit regulatory oversight, audit compliance and playing an integral role in aiding in the oversight of the transit system's Safety Management System for Metrobus, Metromover and Metrorail transportation systems, and contracted provider services.
