The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking physician-scientists and investigators with an interest in infectious diseases to join the Division at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Medicine. The faculty member will develop a clinical/translational/or basic science program and will have responsibilities teaching residents and infectious diseases fellows research skills. Physician-scientists will also have roles on the inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases services teaching residents and infectious diseases fellows. We are growing a strong basic and translational research group with a focus on a wide range of infectious diseases. The larger scientific environment at Rutgers is outstanding. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick is part of the RWJBarnabas Health System. The affiliation of Rutgers Health and RWJ/Barnabas Health, the largest health system in NJ, presents exciting opportunities for growth and expansion of the infectious disease program.
