About The Position

The University of Rochester is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support a growing fast-paced general dermatology practice. This position is accountable for the provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards and contributes to unit activities while supporting the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. The RN will manage and administer biologic injections, perform telephone triage, provide patient education, and participate in quality improvement activities across all UR Medicine Dermatology practice locations. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to providing quality care for complex dermatologic patients.

Requirements

• 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient nursing care in the ambulatory clinic.
• Manage and administer biologic injections.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Educate patients on their care and treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement activities across all UR Medicine Dermatology practice locations.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
