About The Position

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic or Analytical Chemistry and have a command of the subject matter. Typical activities include inspecting lab for safety and preparation issues, performing experiments indicated in lab textbooks/manuals, maintaining student attendance, maintaining regular communication with laboratory and recitation coordinator, maintaining scheduled office hours outside of scheduled teaching times, and meeting lab coordinator and lecture instructors' expectations for grading including: returning graded work promptly, recording grades regularly in Canvas, and turning in final lab grades by the last day of final exams. If teaching lectures, instructors may need until the Thursday past finals week.
