Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Land Development Department Manager who will perform duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall civil/site land development discipline in Maitland, FL. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff. Oversee the professional development of the assigned staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 12+ years in related field
  • Professional licensure in area of expertise
  • Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees

  • Ability to hold others accountable
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products
  • Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team
  • Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team
  • Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals
  • Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required
  • Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects
  • Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed
  • Assigns projects to staff and schedules work
  • Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy
  • Oversees assigned staff development and advancement
