Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Land Development Department Manager who will perform duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall civil/site land development discipline in Maitland, FL. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff. Oversee the professional development of the assigned staff. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 12+ years in related field
- Professional licensure in area of expertise
- Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees
- Strategic thinking
- Effective delegation skills
- Collaboration
- Ability to hold others accountable
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
Responsibilities
- Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products
- Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team
- Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team
- Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals
- Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required
- Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects
- Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed
- Assigns projects to staff and schedules work
- Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy
- Oversees assigned staff development and advancement
