About The Position
Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management). Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned by store manager move with your “Ace Pace”. Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required. Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings. Handle special orders for all non-stock items. Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager. Watch for shoplifters and act, in line with Elder’s policy, that will discourage shoplifting. Excellent customer service and interaction prevents shoplifting. Respond to radio requests. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
- Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
- Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
- Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
- Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
