About The Position

Position Summary The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center ( LSUHSC ) School of Dentistry at New Orleans seeks nominations and applications for the position of Chair, Department of Endodontics, a full-time tenure track position. The School of Dentistry seeks candidates whose experience, teaching, research and service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence in dental education. The Chair is an integral part of the School of Dentistry ’s Leadership team. The position is associated with four critical areas of responsibility: pre-doctoral education, advanced education, scholarly activity, and Faculty Practice patient care. Other duties will include administrative responsibilities such as departmental planning, budgeting, faculty staffing, and supervision. This position reports to the Dean of the School of Dentistry. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
