About The Position

The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center exists to support the ministry of the Salvation Army by providing the opportunity to experience Christ through focused programs in a natural, safe, camp conference environment. The Department Floater is responsible for assisting different departments as needed, performing various duties across assigned areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 19 years.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and be a self starter.
  • An attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible in light of changing job situations/priorities.
  • Supportive of the mission of The Salvation Army.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with a camp or non-profit organization helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various duties in assigned departments as needed.
  • Assist with concession sales, loading vending machines, folding clothes, pricing items, covering office on weekends (Retail Sales).
  • Assist housekeeping, set-ups and laundry worker when needed (Operations).
  • Assist Program department as needed.
  • Assist Maintenance department as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
