About The Position
The Department Chair for the College of Business - Department of Marketing at Illinois State University is responsible for leading a diverse faculty, managing departmental resources, and fostering a culture of shared governance and inclusion. The Chairperson acts as a spokesperson for the department, collaborates with an advisory board, recruits students and faculty, and supports teaching, research, and service activities. This role is pivotal in maintaining the department's strong relationships with local businesses and enhancing the educational experience for approximately 900 students enrolled in various marketing programs.
