The Department Assistant will provide budget and administration support within the Office of Human Resources & Institutional Equity. The Department Assistant is responsible for processing and documenting all invoices, requisitions, purchase orders. This position serves as the primary Kronos timekeeper for the department, coordinating with managers/supervisors to ensure accurate payroll processes. Provide key administrative support to the HR teams as needed, serving as backup to the Executive Assistant to the VP of HR and assisting the AVPs with calendar management as needed. This position will also serve as the first point of contact and primary information resource for all front desk phone and walk-in Human Resources inquiries including assisting with walk-in applicants applying for open positions or providing/verifying employment eligibility documents.
