Shriners Children's specializes in pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and other pediatric subspecialties. This job opening is for a Department Assistant, a per diem, non-exempt, and benefits-eligible position. The compensation for this role ranges from $25.50 to $36.00 per hour, with the final pay determined by years of experience and departmental equity.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• 3-5 years administrative experience

Responsibilities

• Notifying manager to order supplies and support the department
• Answering the department phone
• Managing scheduled order report
• Managing technologist worklist and scheduling radiology appointments
• Entering request orders and importing images into PACS system
• Handling patient request copies
• Managing department flow for patients
