JOB SUMMARY The Department Assistant is responsible for supporting the department’s clerical and administrative needs. Responsibilities may vary by department and subsidiary.

Requirements

Must be able to type and file accurately.
General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software.
Ability to lift 30 pounds or less.
Provide clear written and verbal communication.
Detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task and be organized.

Responsibilities

Perform general administrative duties to support the department (i.e. filing, telephone support, coordinating meetings, etc).
Maintain department records.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Respond to requests and questions in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
