As Department Analyst II, you will function as a primary resource for operating units regarding the data collection and evaluating operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures. This position requires reporting, complex business logic development and output analysis experience. On this team, you have a flexible schedule and the opportunity to implement new plans as you progress and succeed in your role. This is a remote opportunity for candidates who reside in NE Ohio only. Will be required to attend onsite quarterly meetings. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM and 7:00AM - 4:00PM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or a related field and two years of statistical analysis experience
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience
  • OR Associate's Degree and four years of experience
  • OR Master's Degree and one year of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of defining logic using system fields (e.g., provider type, specialty)
  • Backend system fields, extracting data and developing reports
  • Analyzing provider attribution (assessment of providers to ensure attributed correctly based on our claims data)
  • Collaboration with our technical developers and able to provide clear business logic for report generation
  • Very strong analytical and technical skillset

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
  • Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs and prepare reports based on analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
  • Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identify opportunities for service and program improvement.
  • Develop special reports and recommendations.
  • Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures and systems.
  • Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
