About The Position

Avaneer Dental Studio, part of the Catalis Dental Lab Partners premier network, is an innovative dental laboratory specializing in high-quality restorations. We are seeking a Denture Technician specializing in acrylic processing and post-processing to join our Removable Department. This role is crucial in ensuring that all dentures meet the highest standards of fit, function, and aesthetics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years in denture processing, acrylic work, or related dental lab experience.
  • Strong knowledge of acrylic materials, flasking, packing, and polishing techniques.
  • Ability to ensure high-quality craftsmanship with minimal errors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot processing challenges and make adjustments as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3D printed denture workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process full and partial dentures using heat-cured, cold-cured, and injection-molded acrylics.
  • Perform flasking, investing, and boil-out procedures accurately to ensure high-quality results.
  • Pack and cure dentures while maintaining proper handling techniques to prevent material defects.
  • Trim, finish, and polish dentures to achieve optimal comfort, esthetics, and durability.
  • Remove processed dentures from molds and carefully clean residual plaster or stone.
  • Fine-tune occlusion, adjust fit, and perform necessary refinements to ensure precision.
  • Apply staining, characterizing, and final polishing for a natural appearance.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all functional, aesthetic, and durability standards are met.
  • Work closely with the removable team to make necessary adjustments based on clinician feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any processing issues.
  • Stay updated with advancements in acrylic processing techniques and denture materials.
  • Assist with training junior technicians when necessary.
