About The Position

InGenesis is seeking a Dentist to work with our client. In this role, you will provide diagnosis and treatment plans for routine and emergency dental patients as well as general dentistry services to patients in various locations throughout Harris County. This role requires reliable transportation and flexibility and is required to travel to locations including Mobile Program locations, schools, and clinic sites throughout Harris County.

Requirements

• Dental degree (i.e. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent) from an accredited school of dentistry.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dental clinical setting as a practicing dentist.
• Texas Dental License.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Registration.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Valid Texas driver license.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality dental services to patients.
• Document dental care in electronic records.
• Communicate treatment information clearly and compassionately.
• Supervise and guide dental hygienists and assistants.
• Deliver dental care in various community settings and HCPH clinics.
• Oversee management of dental equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient appointments and referrals.
• Complete required reports on time.
• Ensure staff follow HCPH policies and procedures.
• Suggest improvements for mobile clinic operations.
• Perform other assigned duties, including emergency tasks.
