About The Position

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Dentist to join our mission-driven team. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality dental care, balancing prevention, education, and treatment in accordance with Georgia state guidelines. You’ll play a vital role in improving oral health outcomes for underserved communities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
• Active Georgia Dental License.
• DEA and Medicaid numbers (required for PRN roles).
• Bilingual in Spanish (required for some locations).
• Minimum 1 year of dental practice experience (5+ years preferred).
• Training in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and oral manifestations of HIV.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to adults (18–65) and geriatric patients (65+), with occasional care for pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Deliver services including prevention, education, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Participate in community outreach events and health fairs 3–4 times annually.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the oral health needs of patients, including those with infectious diseases.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinic standards.
