Requirements

Graduate of a Dental School recognized by the ADA Counsel on Dental Education
Dental Residency Program is required
Current Connecticut Dental License and current narcotics license are required
CPR Certification is required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience is preferred

Familiarity with EPIC Systems is highly desirable

Responsibilities

examining, diagnosing, counseling, and performing dental treatment for patients
participate in departmental and center-wide activities
Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures
Examines patient to determine the nature of the condition, utilizing x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures
Cleans, fills, extracts, and replaces teeth, using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements
Provides preventive dental services to patients, such as applications of fluoride and sealants to teeth, and education in oral and dental hygiene
