We are seeking a part-time experienced Dentist, or a recent graduate with a passion for Pediatric Dentistry to join our Oral Health Impact Project (OHIP) in the Prince George School District in Maryland. This is a unique opportunity for a caring and energetic Dentist to join our highly successful mobile dental clinic team. We have over 27 years of institutional healthcare experience including the provision of Dental services for various School Districts across the Nation. We deliver on-location, high quality comprehensive dental care to patients who face barriers in accessing dental treatment. Our mission is to reduce the proportion of children and adolescents who have dental caries and decay while helping children have happy, healthy smiles.

Requirements

  • Degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
  • Active State Dental License - with no restrictions
  • Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of Pediatric dentistry
  • Pediatric dentistry experience preferred
  • DEA
  • CPR/BLS
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Able to travel throughout the assigned school-district territory
  • Able to work well with children
  • Able to consistently work weekdays
  • Effective in working independently, as a member of a team, and as a part of a larger coalition

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric dentistry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide school children (pre-K up to 12th grade) in under-served communities with preventive and restorative dental care.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with the highest quality of care.
  • Provide education on oral health.
  • Practice and follow infection control and OSHA regulations.
  • Execute company standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality of service and a consistent patient experience.
