Requirements

Current state license as DMD/DDS
Current DEA
Current CPR certificate
Proficient with electronic medical records
Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Provide and manage direct dental patient care, including oral examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified population in a correctional healthcare/dental setting
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed oral conditions
Manage the daily operations of the dental clinic at the facility
Participate and direct health promotion, education and/or prevention programs for inmates and provides in-service training for health staff members
