As a Dentist at Northwest Health Services, you will be responsible for performing general dentistry services by: Diagnosing and treating patient oral concerns. Examining patients to determine the nature of the condition affecting the patient. Utilizing dental instruments and diagnostic procedures in patient treatment Performing dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, etc. using instruments, appliances, medications and surgical implements. Providing patients preventative services and education in dental hygiene. Leading and supervising dental office staff, including dental hygienists and dental assistants. Assisting in development of dental policies and procedures to integrate within multi-disciplinary family health service. Adhering to all safety protocols and processes.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Missouri.
  • Valid licensure from the Bureau of Dangerous Drugs and DEA.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Insurable for professional liability insurance.
  • We require vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment & honor exemptions for medical and religious reasons to the extent required by law.
