Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid licensure as a Dentist in the state of Florida in accordance with Florida Statute 446.
  • Previous experience as a practicing dentist is preferred, but new graduates with the right skills and enthusiasm will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in taking and interpreting X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients on dental health and treatment options.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest dental practices and advancements.
  • Must possess a commitment to continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with industry standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to community health and improving access to dental care, especially for underserved populations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual candidates are a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive dental examinations and evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions.
  • Perform restorative and preventive procedures.
  • Tooth Extractions and Surgical procedures.
  • Patient education.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Stay current on dental practices.
  • Performs related work as required.
