About The Position
The position involves providing dental care to patients at the FHH Dental Practice, including the Healthy Smiles in Motion mobile dental unit. The dentist will work under the direction of the Dental Director and is expected to support and align with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the Family Healthcare of Hagerstown. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive dental evaluations, providing treatment and restoration, counseling patients on oral health, initiating referrals, and responding to urgent dental situations. The role requires comfort with full-scale comprehensive dental care, including preventative, restorative, and emergency care, and the ability to treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics. The dentist will work at both the FHH dental practice and the mobile units, which serve various community locations.
