About The Position

Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Dentist position. This is a part-time, 24 hour/week position based out of CompreCare Health Center in San Jose, California. Under general supervision of the Dental Department Director, the Dentist position provides oral health care and guidance to patients or makes appropriate referrals. Dentist duties include patient management, diagnosing and treating patients to achieve excellent results within estimated treatment times with maximum attention to patient comfort, delivering the highest quality care to all patients, and delivering treatment plans to patients along with an informed consent discussion surrounding treatment options. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited dental school DDS/DMD.
  • Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of California.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certifications or ACLS, preferred.
  • DEA registrations.
  • NPI numbers.
  • Completion of an accredited general practice residency program, preferred.
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practices, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and respect to all co-workers, patients, and clients.
  • Work effectively with diverse population and positively in a teamwork environment.
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care in outpatient settings.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry as related to public health organizations and community health programs.

Nice To Haves
