As a valued member of Grace Health, the PRN Dentist will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered dental care with a focus on oral surgery services. This role is primarily responsible for performing routine, surgical, and select complex extractions, with appropriate referral of cases as indicated. In doing so, the provider will strengthen Grace Health’s capacity to manage complex dental needs while improving patient access to timely, comprehensive care. The provider will also perform urgent dental treatment, including limited exams, to address immediate patient needs. The incumbent will leverage advanced clinical training to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients requiring routine and surgical extractions, including impacted teeth and other dentoalveolar procedures. Additionally, the provider may perform soft tissue biopsies of the oral cavity, as clinically indicated, to support early detection and diagnosis of oral pathology, with appropriate referral and follow-up based on findings. This individual will work collaboratively with dental providers, hygienists, and care teams to ensure continuity of care, appropriate treatment planning, and optimal patient outcomes. This position plays a key role in reducing external referrals, supporting clinical efficiency, and expanding service capacity across Grace Health’s dental program. The PRN Dentist will maintain compliance with all clinical protocols, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements while contributing to a safe, effective, and patient-focused care environment. As a PRN provider, this role offers flexible scheduling aligned with organizational needs and patient demand, while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical excellence and team collaboration. The position is typically scheduled one day per week, with schedules coordinated in advance based on provider availability and patient care needs. Care is delivered utilizing local anesthesia and minimal sedation modalities (e.g., nitrous oxide, oral sedation), with appropriate referral of complex surgical cases.
