This role is for a Dental Technician Trainee who will learn basic tooth morphology and anatomy, and how to fabricate and repair various dental prostheses and appliances such as dentures, partials, crowns, bridges, inlay/onlay, veneers, and implant restorations. The trainee will learn to interpret dental prescriptions, familiarize themselves with a wide range of metal and non-metal materials, and practice restoring natural teeth and correcting dental irregularities. They will develop technical knowledge for decision-making in fabrication, potentially learn about constructing partial or full dentures, and become proficient with various hand tools and equipment. The role involves documenting learning through quizzes and worksheets, working under supervision of trainers, and understanding quality standard protocols and problem case recognition. The trainee is expected to learn to work independently while seeking help when needed.
