About The Position

The Dental Technician Finisher – PMMA is responsible for the final processing, finishing and esthetic refinement of PMMA dental restorations, ensuring each case meets the highest standards of quality, function, and appearance. This role plays a critical part in delivering consistently excellent prosthetics by combining technical skill, attention to detail, and strong understanding of Dental lab workflows

Requirements

• Experience in using equipment and tools such as CAD/CAM systems, dental lathes, waxing equipment and casting machines to fabricate dental restorations
• Proficiency in working with materials such as ceramics, metals and acrylics
• Strong technical skills within the dental lab space
• Attention to detail is a must
• Ability to read and interpret dental prescriptions and treatment plans
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion and oral health concepts

Responsibilities

• Finish, contour, polish and characterize PMMA dental restorations, including full-arch and denture cases as well as crowns, bridges and orthodontic appliances.
• Utilize dental impressions and scans to create accurate dental restorations
• Perform final inspection and quality control to ensure fit, esthetics and durability
• Obtain optimal color matching by applying stains and glazes to dental prosthetics
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure patients aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology and materials
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment
