About The Position

The position involves interacting with and providing support to existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of company products. The individual will act as the primary liaison between customers and the company, maintaining positive client relations and ensuring customer needs are met in a sustainable and beneficial manner. The role also includes driving adoption and usage of company products, as well as driving course registrations to company events. Building and cultivating continuing relationships with clients is essential, which involves following up to ensure all concerns are addressed and needs are met. The position requires analyzing customers' designated services and purchase history to suggest suitable products, upselling and cross-selling compatible products, and educating customers on product information including function, specifications, purpose, and design developments. Additionally, the individual will manage and respond to customer concerns, identify best practices to achieve sales results, attain sales deals, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Developing and maintaining industry contacts to provide information and stay abreast of competitors’ activities is also a key responsibility. The role includes creating and delivering sales pitches that highlight the superiority of the company’s products, maintaining initiative to discover and attract new business, sponsoring seminars and continuing education programs, and arranging product shipments and demonstrations by sales personnel. Other related duties and projects may be assigned as business needs require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in the dental industry or medical device industry a plus.

  • Develops and maintains contacts within industry to provide information and remain abreast of competitors’ activities.
  • Creates and confidently delivers sales pitch that highlights the superiority of the company’s products.
  • Maintains initiative to discover and attract new business in a professional, efficient, and honest manner.
  • Sponsors seminars and continuing education programs as well as provides studies and product information to customers.
  • Arranges and provides shipment and demonstration of products by sales personnel.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require.
