About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle patient communications
• Verify insurance coverage and process patient information accurately
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain financial records
• Maintain and update patient records in dental software systems
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Handle billing, insurance claims, and follow-ups as needed
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming
