About The Position

Lake Michigan Endodontics is a fast paced, patient focused practice committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients. We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the smooth daily operations of the practice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
