Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a dental or healthcare setting
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar practice management systems
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and front office workflows
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with professionalism, warmth, and excellent customer service
  • Support check-in and check-out processes, including documentation and verification
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the day
  • Perform insurance verification and enter plans into Dentrix, including benefit breakdowns
  • Provide phone support, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, and general inquiries
  • Process incoming and outgoing dental records, including x-rays and releases
  • Email x-rays and manage documentation requests
  • Distribute tablets to patients as needed
  • Complete new patient requests within established timeframes
  • Collaborate closely with dental providers and team members to ensure smooth operations
