About The Position

Dental Front Desk - Henderson location Full-time position Starting Pay: $17.00 No Weekends Dental office experience is preferred . Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required. This position has the potential for on the job training to become a Dental Assistant if desired. Successful candidate must demonstrate the Rural Health Group Core Competencies, which include: Good Judgment Communication/Customer Service/Teamwork Passion Honesty Responsibility Job-Specific Skill Set - including knowledge, skills, and ability to fulfill the responsibilities of a Dental Receptionist.

Requirements

  • Experience (front and/or back) in a dental office.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Able to work independently; excellent teamwork skills.
  • Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, Microsoft Office software programs, and ability to efficiently learn eCW.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • CPR certification – training will be provided after hire if candidate is not already certified.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
  • Applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment.
  • Federal and State Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screen required for all positions.
  • Influenza vaccine is also a condition of employment.
  • After accepting employment, new hires are required to complete an I-9 form and present documentation of their identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
