Requirements

Proficiency in dental office systems and software, such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms
Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with phone systems and handling patient inquiries over the phone
Experience with medical records management and maintaining accurate documentation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's scheduling system
Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
Assist with billing and payment collection
Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
Manage office supplies and inventory
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Provide administrative support to the dental office staff as needed
