Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree
• Completion of residency with an accredited orthodontic program
• Active dental license in Florida
• Experience practicing orthodontics
• Ability to work calmly and confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care with great attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Examining patients and treating common orthodontic problems
• Interpreting x-rays, impressions, and additional diagnostic tests
• Discussing diagnoses, treatment options, and costs with patients
• Treating patients using braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances
• Meeting with patients regularly to make adjustments and check progress
• Collaborating with other orthodontists and managing staff
• Keeping detailed medical records and orthodontic progress notes
• Using medical practice management software
• Following orthodontic guidelines, regulations, and standards
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
